Stan Smith.... Once upon a time Stan was born in Spokane, Washington. He could have taken the easy path and become a neurosurgeon, but playing piano, guitar, and songwriting was his true calling. A pure artist for many years - he experienced life's adventure, turned it into song, wrote the songs down, and went on to the next. He now, along with his percussionist partner Christa Hammer, performs a variety of songs from boogie to folk, country to blues - all in their unique musical style. Together they have learned there is more than one way to get inside people's minds. |
Christa Hammer.... Once upon another time Christa was born in Odessa, Texas. She lived a lot of life, dancing to her own rhythm, and along the way became a percussionist. Now she percusses with Stan. That's with Stan, not at Stan. She says "I never knew what life could be until I joined The Hands On Band." Wow! |
